Overview of Hostel

Ryokan Q-beh is located in the historical district of 'Gion' area where 'maiko' walk around, and just a couple of minutes walk to some popular temples and shrines. So the surrounding area is very quiet, beautiful and calm.

+From Kyoto Station
1. Get out at the Central Exit of JR Kyoto station (In case you get out of other ticket gates, please head for Kyoto Tower side through 'North-south Walkway').
2. Take Kyoto City Bus No.206 at Kyotoeki-mae D2 bus stop and get off at Higashiyama Yasui bus stop (takes about 20 min).
3. You will be Higashioji-dori St. Walk towards the north (the other direction of 7-Eleven) about 90m and you wil see Higashiyama Yasui intersection. Turn right at the intersection and walk about 90m and turn left.
4. After passing a car park, you will see Japanese restaurant HAMASAKU on your right-hand side. Walk up a road in between HAMASAKU and Confectionary shop Ritsuami. Q-beh is about 90m up on the right-hand side.

+From Gion-shijo Staion (Keihan Railway)
1. Exit at No.6, and walk towards the east (Yasaka Shrine) along Shijo-dori street (about 5 minutes).
2. Turn right at the Gion intersection and walk about 130m down. Turn left the first road (there is HOTEL SUNLINE on the corner) and walk up until you see the south gate of Yasaka Shrine.
3. Turn right in front of the gate and walk about 110m.
4. Walk a road in between Confectionary shop Ritsuami and Japanese restaurant HAMASAKU. Q-beh is about 90m up on the right-hand side.

+From Kawaramachi Staion (Hankyu Railway)
1. Exit at No.1 and walk towards the east (Kamo river and Yasaka Shrine) along Shijo-dori street (about 8 minutes).
2. Turn right at the Gion intersection and walk about 130m. Turn left the first road (there is HOTEL SUNLINE on the corner) and walk up until the south gate of Yasaka Shrine.
3. Turn right in front of the gate and walk about 110m.
4. Walk a road in between Confectionary shop Ritsuami and Japanese restaurant HAMASAKU. Q-beh is about 90m up on the right-hand side..

***In Kyoto City, a new accommodation tax will be implemented starting October 1,2018. Accommodation charge under JPY20,000 (per person per night), the tax amount is JPY200 (per person per night). Please pay at the lodging facility which you are staying. --Reception Hours and Check In Time-- Check-in time: 15:00-21:00 / Check-out time: 8:00-12:00 If you would arrive out of our reception hours, please let us know in advance. We will tell you how to enter the hostel and further informatio. Luggage storage is available for FREE even before check-in and after check-out. Even before 15:00, you can use all hostel facilities except guest rooms. --Cancellation Policy-- If you wish to cancel or change your reservation, we will require 2 DAYS ADVANCED NOTICE from the date of your arrival (e.g. if your arrival date is on the 5th, then before 21:00 [Japan Time] of the 3rd), otherwise the cancellation fee of one night's stay will be charged. Cancellations made with two days or more advanced notice will not be charged. --Group Booking-- For groups of 5 or more people, we may require additional condition when you make a reservation request. --Age Limit for Staying in Dormitory Room-- *Children Under the Age of 12 Those are not allowed to stay in a dormitory room. *Children between the Age of 13 Those are able to stay in a dormitory room with a parent or a legal guardian. Or a letter of consent filling out by the minor's parent or a legal guardian must be necessary. *Over the Age of 18 Those are able to stay in a dormitory room. --Accommodation Tax-- *Kyoto City will be levying accommodation taxes on people who stay in Kyoto as of October 1st, 2018. *The tax rate is set at 200 yen per night per guest who pays a room charge of less than 20,000 yen per night. *The accommodation tax is not included in your confirmed rate, and will be charged additionally when you arrive for check-in.
