The Golan Garden Hostel is a brand new, outdoor-oriented, cosy and clean home-style hostel in Katzrin, the heart of The Golan Heights! Colorful, spacious and clean dormitories and privates provide a good night of sleep after your adventures of the day. A well equipped communal kitchen, clean shared bathrooms, cosy lounge, big terrace with BBQ, garden, music instruments, 2nd hand clothes shop and free coffee and (herbal) tea create a great atmosphere to chill and meet other travelers.

Arriving By Bus
From Tel Aviv - Central
Take bus 843 - a direct bus to Katzrin that runs once a day. The ride is about 4 hours and has one 10 min break. For non direct options see bus.co.il

From Jerusalem - Central
Take bus 966 - a direct bus to Katzrin that runs twice a day. It takes about 4 hours and has one 10 min break. For non direct options see bus.co.il

From Tiberias - Central
Buses 52, 57 and 62 run frequently from the central station 12 times a day. It takes between 40 min to an hour.

If you are arriving by bus, there is a stop right by our street. The stop is called 'Gilbon/Tidhar'. As you get off the bus, walk down the street and take a right at the first street - Hofit 13


Arriving By Foot -

Main Entrance (1km, 12min)
Take a left at Si'on street at the main Si'on roundabout. Walk down the street and turn right at the first roundabout into Gilbon street. Keep walking until the last street on the right - Hofit 13.

Southern Entrance (850 Meters, 10min)
Walk down Zavitan road, pass Zavitan roundabout. When you get to the second 'Gilabon'roundabout, turn right to Gilabon street. We're on the first street left - Hofit 13.

The Golan Garden Hostel is a brand new, outdoor-oriented, cosy and clean home-style hostel in Katzrin, the heart of The Golan Heights! A well equipped communal kitchen, clean shared bathrooms, cosy lounge, big terrace with BBQ, garden, music instruments, 2nd hand clothes shop and free coffee and (herbal) tea create a great atmosphere to chill and meet other travelers.

Every morning there’s FREE Pancake Breakfast! We’re centrally located in Katzrin, next to the Yehudiya Nature Reserve, one of the most beautiful and all-round nature reserves of the North. Magnificent world-class hiking trails start right from the hostel, taking you through canyons with waterfalls, natural pools and archaeological sites.

Hiking and camping gear are for rent. Hiking maps are provided for FREE! Other adventurous outdoor activities at the Golan Garden Hostel include: Canyoning through waterfalls and pools, Horse riding, Mountain biking, ATV riding, Kayaking and Rafting. We love helping you out planning these activities for you!

Combine your outdoor adventures with a wine tasting at local and exclusive wineries of the Golan, a visit to cheese farms, the local beer brewery, olive oil press and chocolate factory. Take a dip in the Sea of Galilee, have lunch at one of the Druze villages, see Syria from a look-out and have some more Hummus as the local restaurant...there is plenty to do!

The Golan Garden Hostel is run by two well-traveled nature lovers who can’t wait to show you another side of Israel...the beautiful Golan Heights. So grab your bag and let your adventure begin!
